Hi Everyone,

I live in beautiful Eagle Ranch in Colorado where skies are blue and vistas are grand. I am starting this blog so I can share some of my personal ideas about music, my web site products and my life in general. I enjoy singing and playing guitar. I would like to share some of my personal arrangements of songs and of course my own songwriting adventures. I have several friends who also enjoy a creative musical path and I will also be introducing them to you.

I work at The Home Depot as a Kitchen Design Specialist. This is a fun and creative job where I can help people plan and build their dreams for their homes.

I spend the rest of my time working on my web site, Silk Flower Boutique.com, creating floral designs and playing and composing music. Silk Flower Boutique is my web business. It requires a good amount of my time to keep products current and available for purchase. I absolutely love designing with artificial, silk and real touch flowers and plants. These products are beautiful and are easy to use to create floral designs. My business is still young and I am just beginning to use all the wonderful technologies available for internet marketing.

I also spend a lot of time writing articles about various products for Mark, my husband of 31 years. We got married at a very young age. We have grown together and have ventured into many different business adventures together. At this time, Mark is focusing on developing SEO web sites and PPC. He has studied with several of the web master Gurus and is just beginning his own adventure in web marketing. I will be blogging about several of these articles and products so you can check them out and see how they can benefit you.

Soon, I will be doing some videos with some guitar instruction. I know there are a lot of people out there who want to learn to play guitar and I want to help them succeed in their endeavors. I may not be a virtuoso, but I do have many years of playing under my belt and would love to share some of my experience. I believe that mentoring is one of the most important things we can do as individuals. Share your love and knowledge and the world will be a far better place.

Music has always been a major impact in my life. Years ago, when I was in college, I was a music major. I spent these early years trying to learn music theory and the fundamentals of education. Once again, I was very young and my path was not clear to me. I got out there in the public school system as a student teacher. It scared me. I felt I did not have the knowledge or confidence to properly communicate to students. I decided to leave school and look in other directions. This choice put me on a winding path. All along this path, I have always been an entertainer and performed music with different vocal groups, musical bands and countless jam sessions. All of these have had a great impact on my musical talent and style. I will be sharing songs I have written and of course other songs by great artists and singer/songwriters.

I feel like I just got on a boat going down an unknown river. This is going to be fun and challenging.
